Disclaimer for Whitsunday Terraces web site

This site contains photographs including the decline and decay of the Whitsunday Terraces, an early and iconic Airlie Beach resort. You figured that out right away, didn't you? The before and after photos from 2010 are the real give away.

I had a well founded expectation that things were going to improve now the resort is under new management, from late 2011. Improvements has been gradual, but real. The gardens have been improved. A much better manager was in place from late 2012 to mid 2013, and again later in 2013. Later photographs will show the improvement.

The real action in the Whitsundays is when you use the Whitsunday Terraces Resort as a base to travel out to the Great Barrier Reef, and sail or snorkel or dive or fish. Please try it out.

This is a plain English disclaimer. It doesn't make a lot of sense, but it is in plain English. I am told plain English is a good thing in web sites.

Travel Warning

Do not use this site for the purposes of travel planning. The author can not guarantee the appropriate mix of cyclones, floods, famine and pestilence at the time you visit, as I am not in Airlie Beach all the time. Yes, early 2011 was a bad year. On the other hand, winter 2013 has been awesome.

Not A Legal Disclaimer

This is not a legal disclaimer. Lawyers mostly won't talk to me, at least not after the first attempt. This web site is not hosted in Australia, and you would have problems removing it. If you have a complaint, the response is probably going to be tough luck. The exception will be that I will correct any errors, as long as you can satisfy me that there is an error. For example, a later photograph showing an improvement that I have not seen.
